 The article & photo I chose had pretty confusing and interesting steps. It pretty much is saying you get a word in a cool font, and add layers behind it, which gives it all those cool colors and background designs. Then use cinema 4D, and 3d to give it that exploding effect. Also blend in different colors in the background to add an effect layer. Then add colors, and crack brushes, then add cracks in the letters you want more explosion effect in. Mainly highlighting, blending, and layers. Here is the link.
